Sis. Minnie Dora Tatum, known to many near and far as "Granny," departed this life
on April 10, 2022. On June 28, 1946, Tatum was born to the late James & Lula Bell
Bland. She was baptized into The Pentecostal Church of God in May of 1976. She continued in the faith under Bishop Sears, Bishop Evins, Bishop Rice, and now under the
leadership of Bishop James Stoudemire. Many knew her by her good ole soul food
country cooking and her love. She had a generous heart and would help anybody
who was in need. She has provided shelter to many throughout her life, and because
of her love for God, she loved people. She helped raise and nurture many of the PCG
children. She also had a passion for singing and could harmonize with anyone with
her third alto singing voice.
