Ms. Mentile Forte

Mentile was also lovingly known as Boogie. She was born on December 26, 1954 to her parents the late Mrs. Lillie Ann and Berry Forte. She gained her education from Eufaula High School and went on to graduate from Paul Quinn College in Waco, Texas.
Mentile did not have children of her own but she loved and taught many children in her position in the Eufaula City School System where she retired on May 15, 2017, after 19 years of service. She was a loving, caring and devoted daughter, sister, niece, cousin, aunt, mentor, and friend. Mentile loved teaching her students, traveling and spending time with family.
Having professing Christ, Mentile joined and remained a faithful member of The Rocky Mount Baptist Church. On Monday, April 22, 2024, she was called home to enter eternal rest in Heaven with our Lord and Savior. She loved the Lord and even when her health was failing, she never stopped singing and praising him.
Mentile was preceded in death by her loving mother, Lillie Ann Forte and brother, Harry Forte. Her loving memories will be left and cherished by her devoted Father, Berry Forte; Brother Larry (Evelyn) Forte; Special Friend, Shirley Mahone-Lewis; adopted brother, Ricky(Tanya) Rogers, Alpharetta, Ga and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and many other loving supporters and friends.
